Deepa metha is one of the most acclaimed indian film makers. Her movies are qite contrversial. Now she has come out with her new movie.Indian filmmaker Deepa Mehta’s Preity Zinta-starrer Heaven on Earth, which touches the issues of immigration, isolation and power of imagination will open an annual film festival of Indian and diaspora films here. The film, which was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last week, will feature at this year’s Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival of Indian Independent and Diaspora Films on November 5, where it will be screened at the Lincoln Centre Jazz.
