He was downright jelous of his own's wife's success, insecure of her popularity. It was just a simple man's pride matter. But then shouldn't man be proud that his wife was achieving great heights? This is something most men don't think about. When they win, we always stand behind them, feeling proud and applauding all the way up. But not them. That's the difference.
